- Obtaining a BFA and graduating with distinction from San Francisco's Academy of Art College in 1988
- she was honoured to have a small series selected to show in the annual New York Society of Illustrators Show. Later returning to her home in Vancouver,
- Sharon promptly attained representation in communication arts as a freelance illustrator. She worked for over ten years in the industry commissioned by many notable corporations and clients.
- While raising her family in Whistler, she carried on her passion for painting participating in numerous group shows and workshops.
- Her extensive art and illustration background bring a strong skill set to her subjects.
- Painting primarily in oils and acrylics, she is currently focusing her energy interpreting the local scenery, wildflowers, bears and peonies.
